Cam Degreeing Fixture :

Here is a simple cam degreeing fixture you can make from two old hydraulic lifters you probably have laying around.  Simply gut the lifters and jam in a 3" long X 1/2" pipe nipple.  You will have to grind down the threads slightly on both ends of the nipple.  One lifter rides nicely on the cam lobe and the other makes a perfect base for you dial indicator.  Cost = about 15 minutes of your time.
