Tiz the season to get that Holley, Rochester Q-jet, Carter Thermo quad, AFB, AVS, rebuilt. All rebuilds include: 1. Complete disassemble and rebuild-ability check ( no charge if carb is not rebuildable ). 2. O.E.M. verification of all components. 3. acid dip cleaning. 4. Assemble with all new OEM quality soft parts, includes needles & seats, Accelerator pump, power valve,etc. 5. Bench adjust to O.E.M. specs. Over 30 years experience. $130. Done those!!! - and lots of other small engine carbs. The culprut there is our alcoholed fuel. It eats the older fuel lines up and deposits the pieces in the carb pasages - and just dropping the fuel bowl for a quick clean out quite often doesn't cure the problem. The last two Holleys I did were off of boat motors - a little different in some areas than automotive carbs.
