1966 Chrysler New Yorker
Time to make room for my other projects! This is a 1966 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door Hardtop. It has the original 440 ci v8 and automatic transmission. (numbers matching)

Here's some specs:
Engine:
440ci, .040" over, unfortunately only about 8:1
Fresh engine gaskets - cylinder heads, intake, oil pan, timing cover, rear main, etc.(all FelPro)
'452 casting heads, rebuilt by Aerohead with hardened seats
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Edelbrock 750 carb
Comp Cams XE268H cam, lifters, springs and double roller timing set
Hedman Shorty Hedders
2 1/2" dual exhaust with X pipe and Flowmaster Super 44s
Aluminum water pump housing
Aluminum radiator
New power steering pump
New high output mini alternator
New mini starter
Battery relocated to trunk
Carter electric fuel pump
Relays for electric fuel pump and headlights
Trans:
Recent rebuild (less than 5,000 miles) with TCI friction parts
TCI shift kit
Lokar throttle and throttle valve cables
External fluid cooler
Rear axle:
8 3/4"
Large U joint yoke with new HD joint
3.55:1 ring and pinion, open diff
489 housing
New rear brakes (everything- shoes, drums, hardware, wheel cylinders, wheel studs and nuts, (all around, left handed on both sides) brake lines)
Completely rebuilt front end - ball joints, bushings, tie rods, pitman, etc
Recent alignment
Rebuilt power gearbox
Front disc brake conversion
Dual well master cylinder
Rebuilt power booster
New tires all around (oversized)
15" cop car wheels with dog dish hubcaps
All it really needs is a new front carpet, a new headliner, a windshield and some paint buffing to look really nice again. It sounds really healthy with the cam and Flowmasters. http://youtu.be/t-ni2KYwV5Y Basically it has all the hard stuff done already, just a few little things left. It's a great cruiser!
