Each
year Moparfest gets bigger and bigger…
Last year there were 1500 Plymouth/Dodge/Chrysler/AMC/Jeep cars and
trucks from all across Canada and the United States
ranging from 1918
to present on the show field. 16,000 people attended the two day event.
This year we expect to have well over 1,600 collector and special interest
Mopars, as well as 200+ vendors and over 18,000 people in attendance.
Moparfest is a non-profit organization and, after expenses, the remaining
funds go back to the community.
Last year approximately $140,000 benefited
youth programs, local Service Clubs, Charities and Community Organization.
This event is held annually for two purposes:
1. To give Mopar enthusiasts from across Canada and the United States
an opportunity to show their Mopars,
meet and exchange information
and buy and sell cars, parts and paraphernalia.
2. To raise funds for Children and Youth programs run by the following
organizations.
Since 1988 Moparfest has raised and donated over $1,153,000.00 to
13 local Service Clubs, Charities and Community Organizations.
Highlights
at this year’s MOPARFEST:
Gates open
at 8:00 am on Saturday & Sunday
Indoor Arena full of unique and distinctive Mopars
Vehicle Show Field (with the first 1000 registered vehicles receive
a plaque to be picked up at the show)
Car Corral (buy or sell the car of your dreams)
200+ Vendor Field (swap meet)
Infield full of Special Interest Show cars (CASCARs, Dragsters, etc.)
New Car Displays on the Infield (brought by the 14 Participating dealers & DamlierChrysler
Canada)
Draw for the 1968 Dodge Dart (for all preregistered 1986 or older vehicles,
you and your vehicle must be present to win)
Draw for the 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T (Given away by the New Hamburg
Optimist Club)(You do not need to be present to win)
Tons of door prizes (you must be present to win)
Spectator prizes packages like hotel packages and more (open to all,
you must be present to win)
Mopar Performance crate engine draw on Saturday for participants
Long distance awards
Bike draw (free for kids 12 & under)
50/50 draw
Engine blow contest
Sunoco gas draws
Silent auction on a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker
Food tents
Beer tents with viewing screens to watch the Busch series & NEXTEL

Entertainment by country recording artist Beverly Mahood & Lace

Entertainment by Rolly Rocker & the Hemi Heads on Sunday
Bus trip to St. Jacob's
At 4:30 pm Saturday head over to Wellington Motors in Guelph for more
fun, an awsome smoke show and Rolly Rocker & the Hemi Heads!
Everything is over at 4:30 pm on Sunday
Moparfest is truly a family event.
MOPARFEST FEES: (No pets, no outside alcohol and no bicycles allowed
on the field.)
GENERAL SHOW ADMISSION Spectators fees will be $9.00 per day Children
under 12 are free.
PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION FEE The show is open to all Mopar/AMC/Jeep
show vehicles.
Vehicle registration fee of $35.00 will entitle your
vehicle and 2 people to both day's events.
The rate for Old Chrysler
Corporation Auto Club (OCC) members is $30.00.
(Sorry, there is no
reduced rate if you can only attend one day)
1986 & older vehicles
preregistered by August 1, 2006 are eligible to win the 1968 Dodge
Dart.
The registered owner and the vehicle must
be present to win.
If you are one of the first 1000 vehicles preregistered
you will receive a plaque when you pick up your papers at the registration
tent on the day of the show.
Pre-registration closes August 1, 2006.
For custom Truck/Van and Special Interest Vehicles (1986 & newer
cars & trucks).
Photos and details about the vehicle must be included
with the registration requests.
CAR CORRAL FEE The Car Corral is for private individuals (non business)
the fee is $35.00.
If you are pre registered by August 1, 2006 and
your vehicle is a 1986 or older it qualifies for the draw on the 1968
Dart.
The registered owner and the vehicle must be present to win.You
cannot sell parts in this area. All parts must be sold in the vendor
field.
