For those of you that attended the Elmhurst Dodge "Cruise-in" last year we have arranged for another one this year on the South side. Thomas Dodge has asked us to bring our cars out for a "cruise-in" at their dealership just like the one we had at Elmhurst Dodge. The reason that this has come about is the person that I dealt with at Elmhurst Dodge now is the manager at Thomas Dodge and wants to do it again.The "Cruise-in" is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 11:00 AM till 3:00 PM. Once again they are planning on having a cook-out and feeding us (great food last year). This is just a nice friendly get together at a Dodge dealership to help them create interest from the public and it is also another great opportunity for the club to gain another possible sponsor and supporter. They have already inquired about placing an ad in our newsletter and they are willing to spend money on advertising for this "Cruise-in". Thomas Dodge is located at: 15941 South 94th Avenue
Orland Park, IL 60462 Everyone is welcome to attend and we are hoping for a great turn out to show our support to this dealership. Just like last year we ask that you just drop an e-mail to either myself or Jim DiBiase to let us know you are planning on attending, so that we can let the dealership know ahead of time so they can plan on how much food will be needed.Last year at Elmhurst Dodge we had about 25-30 cars show up so let's see if we can beat that number this year with the support from the folks from the South side attending. This will be a great way to relax on a Saturday afternoon with free food as an extra added benefit. Hope to see you all there!

CMC Board of Director Elections
CMC Club Elections. Voting to be held at each Chapter meeting in the month of October - Final Voting and all ballots counted at the October 29th Club Main Meeting.We have 3 positions again up for election, Vice President,
Events Director and Treasurer.The election is for a two-year term for all open positions. The job description for the Events Director might receive minor adjustment,
perhaps to more of a club public relations Director. Final decision to be made at our upcoming board meeting on the 9th of September. Nominations can be made, in writing or orally at any of our meetings or just to any board member. PLEASE make sure the person you are nominating is OK with the nomination and yes you can nominate yourself. The voting will be at our October Meetings (all chapter and main). And the new term begins November 1. All nominees MUST be
members in good standing (paid up) and a member for 1 year, to vote you must hold a membership for at least 2 months.Currently,Jim Rhinehart has been nominated for Vice President (2nd Term).Doug Girard has been nominated for Treasurer (2nd Term).September:

This year it will be held Feb. 22nd at the Dubuque Greyhound Park & Casino. Will start at 6 pm with the dinner at 7. There will be a short program after dinner and then there will be a charity auction. We ask all attendees to bring an used or new item to donate to the auction.
